Cultural Conference 2022

The 2022 Cultural Conference will be held on Friday 21st of October at Osborne House, East Cowes.

  • The 2022 conference main theme is: Cultural and Creative Education in response to mental health and well-being.
  • The conference will also link to The Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Sustainability and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
  • The conference is for education providers in general – headteachers and staff within schools/colleges.
  • There will be a full menu of workshops, breakouts and student input.
  • Keynote speaker will be announced shortly.

Cultural Conference 2019

The last IWCEP Cultural Conference was held in 2019 at Oakfield Primary School.

The 2019 programme included presentations from Key Note Speaker, Professor Mick Waters, Rajni Pate and Councillor Paul Brading . The conference also included inspirational performances and workshops by island young people, CPD sessions delivered by Artswork and the Music Hub, and activities designed to support delivery of a cultural curriculum which could be integrated into the school timetable or as an additional enrichment activity.
