Museum Visit

Category:

Dinosaur Isle Museum is the home of Island’s dinosaurs and fossils. The iconic pterosaur-shaped building is located on Sandown seafront, just a short walk to the fossil site at Yaverland. With a focus on the dinosaurs, the exhibition tells the geological story of the Island with lots of real fossils, and reconstructions of the main dinosaurs.

For schools we offer visits, talks with fossil handling, and fieldtrips guided by our professional palaeontologists. The museum also has a well-stocked shop selling a range of dinosaur themed and other gifts.
