Storyboard is a technique that encourages students to creatively express their ideas, perspectives and interpretations of historical information.

By creating visual sequences, students can also develop critical thinking skills as they analyse and synthesis information to convey a coherent story or message.

This resource, created by StoneCrabs Theatre, includes artefacts and sample lesson plans inspired by objects taken from Carisbrooke Castle Museum’s book ‘100 Treasures and Curiosities’.

These activities could also be used to explore a wealth of other historic artefacts, you can many of local significance on the Earth Museum Digital Explorer Maps.
