Oral Histories

David Harris, born 1933, worked as a bus conductor for Southern Vectis as a summer holiday job when he was 17.
Joyce Holbrook, born 1920, remembers the wonderful outings she had with her Sunday School where they would go in a charabanc to Ryde.
Sylvia Greville, born 1920, grew up in Chale. Her Father was one of only 9 people to have a car in West Wight in the early 1920’s.
